Additional details: 3+ MP, GigE Vision (bandwidth of 1.1 GB/s), IR corrected, cameras with on-board JPEG compression for increased sample rate and reduced latency. JGHPI’s custom data acquisition software generates real-time tracking data from the high-speed video captured.

We utilize cutting-edge markerless motion tracking systems, integrating multiple platforms powered by a variety of advanced convolutional neural networks. This approach allows us to leverage the strengths of each system for unmatched accuracy and flexibility across diverse applications. Our optical tracking captures full-body motion, including fine motor movements like finger articulation, making it ideal for high-performance sports analysis. Optimized for complex scenarios, such as multi-athlete interactions and occluded environments, our system ensures precise motion capture even in the most challenging conditions.

FORCE PLATES

Count: 96 tri-axial plates

Max sample rate: 2000 Hz

Additional details: Individual force plate load capacity is 20,000 N (we drive race cars on our plates!). All 96 force plates simultaneously measure the force and moment components of the x, y, and z axes for a total of six outputs which are used to compute the center of pressure. The nine total signals from each force plate are synchronized and integrated into JGHPI’s custom data acquisition software (that’s 1.7 million data points per second!).

Custom JGHPI configuration allows for data collection in more natural environments on your natural playing surface (concrete, hardwood, turf, synthetic ice, etc.). Validation by JGHPI ensures high-quality, comparable measurement across all surfaces.

HEART RATE MONITORING

Additional details: Our heart rate monitors provide advanced heart rate tracking through optical sensor technology, utilizing photoplethysmography to measure blood flow and detect changes in blood volume under the skin.

They are designed for versatile use across various sports and activities as they are comfortably worn on the arm. Integrated and synchronized with JGHPI’s custom data acquisition software, these monitors offer seamless functionality alongside EMG sensors, force plates, and high-speed cameras. Their ability to provide reliable and non-intrusive heart rate monitoring enhances biomechanical and physiological analysis, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of athletic performance and recovery in real-world conditions.

Additional details: Our IMUs deliver precise motion tracking through a sensor array comprised of accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers to measure movement across all spatial dimensions. They are engineered for high-precision three-dimensional tracking applications, featuring dedicated sensors for each principal axis of pitch, roll, and yaw. Seamlessly incorporating millimeter-accurate fingertip tracking capabilities, these IMUs excel in scenarios where optical tracking may be limited or unavailable. Our ability to integrate and synchronize specific force, angular rate, and magnetic field measurements alongside all our other signals provides unparalleled accuracy in motion detection, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of complex movements and interactions in both research and real-world applications.
